Early Life
Scott was born in Mount Prospect, IL to David and Angela and raised in Carol Stream, IL. David worked as a computer consultant and traveled during the week. While David spent a large portion of time traveling he never failed to impart wisdom and the respect for others regardless of personal viewpoints and that carries to this day. Angela worked as well but chose to care for both Scott and his sister and did not hesitate at the chance to instill compassion and empathy for others which highly influenced his decision to make a path one of service to others.
Military Life
After Scott graduated from Carthage College, he chose to enlist in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electricians Mate. He spent his tenure either in school, at sea (or rather, under it) on the USS California, or on shore duty at Joint Base Pearl Harbor working to ensure high standards were being met by contractors performing work. While serving, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in Behavioral Studies from Saint Leo University. The work ethic, standards, and oath that were taken are not just words to Scott but will forever drive him to protect those who otherwise could not protect themselves.
Returning to Civilian Life
Once Scott completed his enlistment and obtained an honorable discharge, he chose to move to the great state of Minnesota and to start a life with the woman he loves, Brianna. They are engaged and are planning to get married in 2023. They adopted two cats, Abby and Lucas and could not be more happy with the addition to their household.
